Our office was full of excitement yesterday, December 6th. We celebrated a few birthdays and had our company Christmas party. During the hustle and bustle of the holiday season it’s hard to find time to make that perfect dish. I’ve written up the following recipe that might inspire you. It’s simple, delicious, and a huge hit with my family and friends.

• 2 8oz blocks of cream cheese
• 2 packages of crescent rolls
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp almond or vanilla extract

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix together cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 tsp of extract.
3. Melt the mixture on low heat for about 10 minutes.
4. Press 1 package of crescents onto bottom of a cake pan (do not grease).
5. Spread cream cheese mixture on top of pressed rolls (can put fruit preserves or jelly on top as well).
6. Press 1 package of crescent rolls on top.
7. Melt 1 stick of butter with 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon.
8. Pour over top of crescent rolls.
9. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden on top.
